BLUE LOTUS RETREAT POSTPONED FOR OCTOBER 21-22

In the magnificent scenery of the Twin Falls State Park you will enjoy peaceful walks, experiment with dance and relaxation classes, re-discover your inner creative spirit, and share common experience with persons of the same generation.

About Twin Falls Resort:

About Blue Lotus Retreat:This will be a weekend to cherish! Designed to challenge the mind, enrich the heart, and put a smile on everyone's faces, this retreat will feature activities to keep one busy and yet allow time to relax and enjoy the soothing beauty of the surrounding nature.

Friday:

Saturday:
8:30-9:30- YOGA Stretch and Relaxation
9:30-10:30-BasicBelly Dance Walks, Pauses and Poses. Make your presence noticeable!
10:30-11:00 Break
11:00-12:00 Mystical Hips (Latin, Polynesian,Afro)
Loosen up the hips and your body for everyday activities and for dancing freestyle anywhere.
12:00-1:00 - Ballet basics: posture, turns, balance.
1:00-2:00 Lunch on your own
NO EXPERIENCE NEEDED FOR ANY CLASSES
2:00-5:00 Free time to enjoy the beautiful natural surroundings, waterfalls, and trails, with the instructors
or on your own , and receive facial massage in the order of the sign-up list
5:00-6:00 Make-up demonstration and tips
6:00-8:00 Dinner- gather first at Main Suite for brief orientation and updates.
8:00 Talent show by the participants and for the
participants. Share your passion in a supportive and appreciative atmosphere. Songs, Dances, Poetry, Comedy, Impersonation, Musical Instrument, anything that will entertain, move or shock will do.
10:00PM- Midnight Walk. If weather permits, a flashlight guided walk for the brave and bold.
Sunday:
8:30-9:15 Yoga and Relaxation
9:30-10:15 Liturgical Dance- Sign language hands with modern lyrical dance steps
10:15-11:00 Dance of Veils- Release your inner beauty
11:00-11:45 Arms and attitude. Let your arms express.
12:00-1:30 Lunch, Certificates, Photos, Good-Bye

About the Instructors:
Alexandria Mid East dancer since the 1970s, shares
the knowledge gained from Master Teachers from
around the world. She and her troupes perform in
several states. She shares her fun- loving dance style
and knowledge with her students.
Shalimar began her dancing career over 30 years ago She performs Hawaiian, Liturgical, Ball Room, and Middle Eastern dancing in all sorts of venues. She teaches and takes classes at The Dance Space in Studio in Danville, VA. She leads mission trips to Haiti.
Samra has traveled, studied, researched, performed, and taught multi-cultural dances around the USA and abroad.Locally, she teaches weekly classes Virginia, and NC . Her recent teaching trips were to Brazil, her native country, and Asia. Her Website: www.samrasexpressions.com
Tran (Chan) Shipman is a former Vietnamese refugee of Chinese origin.She works for an attorney's office full time, and as an Yoga instructor at the CWC in Hillsville, VA. She has been Yogini for 25 years. Her hobbies are drawing, making things , and reading Science fiction.
